RIP Patrick Swayze

Rob Lowe, who played in a number of films with Swayze, said: "Patrick lived a thousand lifetimes in one lifetime. He was an expert dancer, he wrote hit songs, he starred in hit movies, he was an amazing horseman.
A talented man.

"Roadhouse" was one of my guilty pleasures, it was through the looking glass good. Very sad that he died so young.

Thats sad.

I know he was in a lot of pain with the prostate cancer, so I'm kind of glad that its over for him, but being in my 30's, I grew up on Swayze movies. Its kind of like losing a friend.

Yup, definately Point Break!

(Am I also allowed to say I enjoyed Dirty Dancing?)

The last movie I saw with him in it was 'Keeping Mum', a great movie and he was fantastic in it.

You and me both, Urien. Something about that movie that causes me to forget where the remote and set top box channel controls are...Swayze was a rare commodity, indeed...
