RIP Patrick Swayze

Unfortunately, he has passed away late last night, aged 57. As Mrs Chopper notes, his performance in Donnie Darko was note-perfect.

He was a good actor, Ghost and Dirty Dancing are his stand outs to me. RIP

Rob Lowe, who played in a number of films with Swayze, said: "Patrick lived a thousand lifetimes in one lifetime. He was an expert dancer, he wrote hit songs, he starred in hit movies, he was an amazing horseman.

I know he was in a lot of pain with the prostate cancer, so I'm kind of glad that its over for him, but being in my 30's, I grew up on Swayze movies. Its kind of like losing a friend.
