I have read that there's the possibility of a BSG movie that is more in line with the original. has anyone heard about this or was it a dream?

If it is true, any thoughts?
 
well, ten years ago, Richard Hatch, was lobbying for a new BSG, I thought I'd heard that there was a movie clip at that time showing the concept for how much better they could portray the Galactica, cylons, etc... also think I remember John Colicos and Laurette Spang (Baltar and Cassiopeia)were helping hatch in the endeavor. However I'm fairly sure that idea got converted into the Sci-fi mini-series in '03 and the actual series in '04.
 
I've heard of a BSG movie thats supposed to be closer to the original series rather than the new series. Also heard the new BSG are planning to make a tv movie or two of the new series, presumably set before the end of the series.
 
I read the same but haven't hear any more news about it.
