I will apologies in advance, as i will be posting photos of relevent models in other sections.. I saw these on E/Bay and thought i'd post some photos of some Wooden, Hand Made desktop models.

I particularly like the B5 ones as this series was under appreciated and there isn't really much out there for us collectors.

Another Five for you. I particularly liked the Narn G'Quan ship.

Last lot now. (I promise)

The paint job for the Whitestar is particularly good IMO

I'm usually not into this sort of thing, scale models and such... but these wooden models are very well done. I imagine they cost a pretty penny.

I wonder if he does NASCAR?:)

They come from a company called the Scale model company. They are pretty expensive at abot $180 each plus postage and packing. You always see things like this on the Captain's table. I wonder if this is the actual company that makes these for shows as "Props"?

They are hand made and made to order so there can't be that many of each of these out there. IMO, it's just nice to see some nice bits and bobs for this underrated show. (I liked the more unusual models.)

As for the Nascar, you could try to mail them. I'm sure they'd do custom stuff.

Rodders, as much as I would like that, if I dropped $200 or there abouts on a spaceship (or NASCAR) model, there would be hell to pay at home. :)

I have noticed lately a move back toward handmade craftsmanship... I recently visited ebay to see if I could pickup a circa 1970s turntable (record player)... and there was this one guy who takes old turntables apart and rebuilds them into works of art. Solid wood bases made of exotic woods, all refurbished workings, beautiful.

And I'll add that $200 for one of these wooden models is pretty reasonable in my book.

I agree that $200 isn't that bad. Especially when you consider that these would be pretty unique pieces.

I think that it's nice to see some good old fashioned craftsmanship. I've noticed that there seems to be more "Statues" that have been made out of old Junk too. (Although these are far more expensive.)

Oooo. I like those. Was saddened to hear about Mongoose not renewing their B5 Licence. I think they were the last ones to produce any official B5 merchandise.

Can't believe I've not seen these before!!!!
Has anyone on here purchased one????

I have a Millennium Falcon one for my collection. It's not bad but I'm not sure if I think it's worth the cash. That said, i would like to get a Whitestar as it's one of my a favourite ships in Sci Fi.

B5 did become the White Star show towards the end!!!
