I don't know what to say about this episode, other then that what Merlin saw in the crystal is going to make fear the moment when he's going to set the Dragon free. If I can read the writers intentions right, Merlin doesn't want to be the person who set the kingdom on fire. But in the other hand, if he doesn't do that, he possibly are going to lose Dragon's guidance in the future.

Based on teh next episode teaser (which looks like an end of series teaser!) I think that what merlin saw in the crystal and what we saw was a missing key elements. I almost wish I hadn't seen the teaser because I think I can work out roughly what might happen - if simply because the dragon going on a regular rampage is just too predictable.
