Hello, first of all, I would like to apologize in advance if I'm posting in the wrong section.
I've been searching for science fiction novels that deals with psychological themes (unconscious mind - collective unconscious - social psychology - personal psychology - paranoia - Jungian psychology - lucid dreams), but in vain. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A few pointers:

Matthew Hughes' Black Brullion includes a sojourn in a somewhat Jungian symbolic realm while Robert Holdstock's Mythago Wood and its sequels offer a very interesting take on Jungian-style archetypes made real. Many of Philip K Dick's novels deal with different aspects of consciousness. JG Ballard's High Rise and Thomas M Disch's 334 are interesting studies in group psychological dynamics. Disch's Camp Concentration may be interesting too. Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes is a rather brilliant study of a subnormal intelligence being artificially boosted to genius level and then reverting to its original state. You may also find the mind disciplines in the Dune books interesting as well as the 'non-Aristotleian' logic of AE van Vogt's Null-A books.

Thank you for the tips. I've read every novel written by Philip K. Dick as he's my favourite novelist; quite brilliant. And he was heavily influenced by Jung, he explored the concepts of group hallucination - collective unsoncsious in his novels (eg.TTSOPE). As for Ballard, I'm not acquainted with his work, I've only read Empire of the Sun in the past, and don't recall anything from it, so I'll look into his books. Heard many good things about Disch, so will start reading his novels. I'm a fan of the Dune series, a brilliantly researched saga in my opinion, and quite fond of van Vogt's work, so already read his books, and some of them were quite interesting. Daniel Keye's novel seems quite appealing, will check it out. As for the authors mentioned initially, haven't heard of them, and will add them to my list. Thank you, you've been quite helpful ^_^
Oh, one more thing. Any good novels that talk about lucid dreams ?

The Three Stigmata Of Palmer Eldritch is one of my favourite PKD novels.

If exploration of Jungian concepts in fiction in general is of interest to you, there is an extended portrayal of Jungian analysis in The Manticore by Roberton Davies. It's a rather excellent novel, although not sf.

I can't think of anything that deals with lucid dreams offhand.

Yes, TTSOPE was magnificent. PKD wrote a series of brilliant novels in the 60's. Ubik, DADOES, TMITHC & Martian-Time Slip along with TTSOPE.
Thanks for another recommendation :)

Would Isaac Asimov's Foundation series count as social psychology?

Foundation series

(spoilers if you read further than the intro)

I've read the Foundation series. Not a fan of Asimov. It has some social psychology elements, but from a sociological point of view.
