I have been delighted to receive my first stats. on sales of my Imperial books in Germany. Suffice it to say that they are pleasing. Random House are following up on the success of the Imperial Trilogy by launching all four Darkweaver Books in July 2010 - here are the covers. I think they're pretty strong. What do you think?

Congratulations Mark.

First Sword looks great and The Chosen One looks incredible. Should sell very well.

Good luck.

Great news Mark, and a rather lovely Christmas present for you! The Darkweaver covers are really well done too. So will they launch all four books simultaneously?

Yes, Patrick. They will launch simultaneously in July 2010. Given how well the Imperials are doing out there, I have high hopes for Darkweaver.

As an interesting aside, that was not the only excitement generated this weekend. It appears there is interest from the film industry for my new series as well. I'm not ready to talk to them about it yet, but it's nice that there are already scouts sniffing around. :)

That sounds exciting. Let's hope your new books live up to expectations then Mark. No pressure ;)

Congratulations; the covers are even more exciting than the orignals I have :) I feel like I should learn German just to read them in that format :) Or relearn German, since I appear to have forgotten all that I learnt since I lived there!

Film scouts are also very exciting; but they have to do the Darkweaver legacy. It'd make a good series of movies :)
