The Fool

Just started reading robin hobbs books, started farseer trilogy, assasins apprentice, and I dont know if i missed something but was there a mention of who or what the fool is? you know the person? that is king shrewds man?

Seems to me like he was just mentioned and u dnt get much background on him?

get used to The Fool. He/She/It is in every Hobb book. (well perhaps not in the new Dragons Keeper)

Actually, your pretty close on the money. Robin Hobb only feeds you tidbits about the fool, and leaves you guessing for more. The fool is an enigma, exactly what he is meant to be.

I am about 50 pages before the end of assassins apprentice mate need to get hold of the seconf book!

In that case my advice is DON'T READ ANY OF THOSE THREADS
Finish the books first otherwise you will find some big spoilers and so much more happens! You have another 8 books to go - 2 more in the Farseer series and then itsoff to the Liveships trillogy and then into the last 3 books and back to the Farseer lands. Note that whilst the liveships is a different storyline it overlaps a lot with the farseer stories (both set in the same world just in different lands) and for the full story I really do recomend reading them
