Hi,
Has anyone heard of or more or the point read the 1957 SF novel The Glass Bees by Enrst Junger?
It's part of the NYRB classic collection and its in stock here....so if anyone can shed any light I would appreciate it.
It's supposed to be a classic but I can't say that I've ever heard of it before. It certainly appears to be highly rated by the online community.
Cheers....
Here is someone's short take on the novel.....seems intriguing.
Ernst Jünger, The Glass Bees
EDIT: OK...confession time. I just realised this is the same Enrst Junger I first read about courtesy of a Roberto Bolano novel. Junger wrote what is widely regarded as the greatest WWI novel ever written, Storm Of Steel. I have that but only now have I made the connection that this is the same author. I'll likely get this but any comments would still be welcome.
