Fiona McIntosh - Valisar Trilogy

Is anyone else reading this series? I thought book one, Royal Exile, was good but book two, Tyrant's Blood, was even better. Her characters are very good and the plot twists and turns sure have surprised me so far. I also would recommend her Quickening and Percheron series.
