George R. R. Martin will be a guest at VeriCon 2006, a science fiction and fantasy convention held at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Okay, somebody hand me a paper bag. What's this "conveniently scheduled to run after FFC is published" bit? I thought it was going to be published in July!

Don't tell me I have to wait even longer!

Hmm... you're probably right. I've heard both July and December, but I just noticed that Amazon.com says December... of 2004. So that's probably the origin of the December claim, in which case you can safely discard the paper bag.
