So, I recently, came up with the idea of a television series called "Alia". I am developing it together with a friend... and I'll see what I'll do with this project. Perhaps it can become something eventually.

Basically, it is about a website/forum circling around Aliens and The Paranormal, the website is called "Alia". That website is run by the rich Conspiracist Viktor Stevens, on the web only known by his initials "VS". Viktor has digged deeply into government conspiraces, and has several sources from the inside... and he has grewn a special "little" interest in the supposed "Reptilian Agenda".

Viktor invites several people into a special team that he is creating... a team that will travel around in a van and a Jet, investigating and looking into mysteries and UFO/Alien sightings that have become popular or have been brought up on Viktor's site. Viktor himself does not go with this team, but still is part of the regular series cast, as he holds video-meetings with the team through the web/computer, where he tells them what mystery they could check out next. Throughout this series, The Team investigate many stand-alone mysteries and secret organizations and monsters... but The Reptilian Conspiracy remains the main story-arc throughout at least the first 5 seasons.

THE REGULAR/MAIN CAST: (The following actors are merely actors that I think are suiting in appearance for the roles, just to make it easier for you to understand at least basically what they look like)

Jada Pinkett Smith as Catherine Moore (Team Leader)

Justin Hartley as Jack Matthews

Clayton Watson as Chris Van Buyler (Lab-Tech)

Unknown as Kia Ching (Lab-Tech)

with Ellen Page as Thelma Rivera (Weapons-Specialist)

and Rutger Hauer as Viktor Stevens (Owner of the site "Alia")

So, basically... If you have any ideas for stand-alone mysteries/monsters/etc. (or longer running ones), I'd love to hear them!

Will you be writing the scripts ?
Immediately you run into X files, Twilite Zone, Outer limits, and other shows that have a similar format to what you describe. 5 years is fairly hopeful, getting a pilot done would be a more reasonable goal.
How about .... reptilian creatures that live deep in the earth... forced to the surface by a volcano. They start a rock band, people think they are wearing lizard costumes... well anyway, good luck !

I am aware of that, but I will do my best to try and make it different enough. As for the rock band idea... The Reptilians have much more important buisness than to pretend being rockers, lol.
