Does anyone here keep up with Orion's Arm? It's an online sci-fi world-building project about an interstellar civilization set thousands of years in the future.
It's inhabited by millions of different species of humans, robots, genetically engineered animals with human-level intelligence, and super-intelligent AIs with computation nodes the size of planets, among many other things.
The site has been up for a couple of years now, but they just recently released a paperback anthology of five novellas called Against a Diamond Sky, and it's pretty interesting.
I was just wondering if anyone else knew about this, or might be interested in diving into it.
