I must understand once and for all - the diffarance between the powers of The Mule and the ones of the 2nd Foundationiers.
One was a mutant and the others developed their abilities through centuries, and aside from that and the brutality of The Mule compared to the delicacy of the 2nd Foundation, I find no diffarance.
From what I can deduct, Isaac Asimob created his ideas on the basis of almost pure scientific theoris, and therefor I find the idea of 'trainning' an ability to convert minds and sense minds in the way it is described with the 2nd foundation a frustrating, it doesnt corolate to anything that exsist and he doesnt offer any good explanation to it. It just is.
A queute from Foundation's Edge Page 132:
"Hamish!
Gendibal was startled. He became aware of the distant tendril of mind well before he saw the person."
I have not finished the saga yet, so if I am still going to find out the answer, dont reveal it please.
If you can enlighten me about how the 2nd Foundation gained physchic abilities, please, tell me.
Thank you.
