Do we know what happened to Edmure at the red wedding? Was he killed too or is he being held hostage?

How much have you read of the series?
Don't want to ruin anything for you.

hrd and phil, welcome to the GRRM forum.

hrd, Edmure was upstairs consumating his marriage while the Red Wedding was taking place. He remained a Frey prisoner for quite some time. When the Freys and their Lannister allies besieged Riverrun, Edmure was brought along by Ser Ryman Frey. Ryman brought Edmure out every day and threatened to hang him if Riverrun was not yielded up. When Jaime arrived to assume command, he took Edmure from the Freys and told Edmure to surrender Riverrun or watch as Jaime delivered his unborn son via airmail. Edmure quickly surrendered Riverrun... yet allowed Brynden Tully to escape.

Correct but for some minor details. Last time we see Edmure, Forley Presster is preparing to lead him to Casterly rock to be hostage there, and Jaime is giving ser Forley a few advices Rob taught him in the Whispering woods. Ser Forley's line was that if Edmure makes as much as a step from the road, he'll be wearing so many arrows his own mother will think him for a goose...

But if I recall, Tom o' Sevens is privy to the route, so Edmure will likely be seeing his sister before he sees Casterly Rock.

Stoneheart may hang Ed herself, if she's in the mood... and I get the feeling she's always in the mood.

What?? That would mean that Stoneheart has no more trace of Catelyn left in her at all. Judging from how she reacted to Brienne and her sword, I would say that there is enough Catelyn left in there that she could never bring herself to kill her own brother, whether he be a dumbass or not.

I dunno. If we know anything about the Tullys, we know that they like to carry their sibling rivalries to extremes.

Hoster and Brynden fought for their entire lives and were not on speaking terms for fifteen of them.

Lysa threatened to send Catelyn home via the Moon Door if she dared to suggest taking Robert from his mother.

This Beligian Ale is really, really fine.

True about Hoster and Brynden and Lysa was somewhat paranoid and slightly deranged. But Edmure really is the last Tully to be able to produce an heir to hold Riverrun and if anything Stoneheart would want to save him from the clutches of the Freys.
Frey-slaying is her new modus operandi.

I sure the hell hope not.I want her to get back to killing the Freys.
She certainly has taken the group of outlaws in a different direction than Lord Beric did.:(
