I can't remember the title or author of this book. released sometime in the early-mid ninety's.
It's about a Female Harvard(?) Psychologist hired to analyze a wealthy recluse on his South Pacific Island. Turns out she is actually there to speak to his Self-aware computer and help it with what might be emotional problems.
He also has on his Island self aware robots and virtual reality stations with tele-presence capabilities. He is responsible for a large network of telecomunication satellites in orbit as well as harvesting an asteroid.
I think the Wealthy Recluse's last name is Gray.
Help me out, want to read more of this Author's work, but I don't know who it is.

Sounds familiar, but the only books that are coming to mind are the Catherine Asaro books about various AI including some that are humanoid. These do not quite match your description although in some of them the lead character is a female scientist.

This would be Society of the Mind, by Eric L. Harry. I haven't read it in a few years, but it was very good.

Hey, you guys found my book for me when I first showed up here looking for one, it's the least I can do! :D

Now if I could ever get around to buying the darn thing....

I hate when that happens! Fortunately, I found a cure. Just hang out here and you'll find that there's always somebody who can answer any question you can come up with--and a ton of other fun things to do, too! :) It's a very addictive place....
