Two panel reviewers from FantasyLiterature.com, a site on which I am also a reviewer, are embarking on a re-read of the entire series, including the Esselmont books, and will be blogging on the re-read on Tor.com. Bill Cappossere, who has been reading the series as it has been published, and Amanda Rutter, who will be a first-timer, will be blogging on several chapters a week, and plan to finish the project within 12 months, and flow right into The Crippled God when it is released.
Here is the link to the re-read blog, which had its introductory post posted yesterday:
Tor.com / Science fiction and fantasy / Blog posts / Welcome to the Malazan Re-read of the Fallen on Tor.com
It will be interesting to get the views of the long-time Malazan fan and the first-timer in tandem. A worthy challenge, and one that I am considering, even though I am in the midst of House of Chains. Going back and doing a re-read of GotM, DHG would be good (I just finished MoI a few months ago, so it is fresh).
