I got 2 books secondhand to try, "Banner of souls" and "Empire of bones". Are they any good? Is she a good writer?

I met her at Eastercon this year, where she gave an excellent Guest of Honour talk. Her books are definitely on my list to read.

Weird, I just picked up 2 books by her from a Publishers Book Clearance store in Bridlington... Banner of Souls was one and The Poison Master was the other, hope they're good!

Time to hunt down the other thread!
