(Probably Found) Series: Nebulan Deep? can't put my finger on it!

I'm sure requests like this come through all the time. hopefully someone has the patience to help me sort it out.

My father is asking me to find an old sci-fi series printed in the 80's or earlier. He believes the series was titled something along the lines of Nebian Deep, Nebulan Deep, or some other variation of the sounds.

Basic story about boy meets alien girl while hopping around through space, but he can't remember spelling or author or book titles.

If anyone might have an idea...? a Google book search, DealOz book search, and Amazon, all aren't coming up with anything in their searches so I thought a sci-fi forum might be my last chance for help.

There was a series in the early eighties by William Tedford called TimeQuest 1,2,and 3.
The title of the third was called TimeQuest III:Nemydia Deep.
The books are all similar on the cover with Time Quest in red over white on the top third, and the bottom two thirds having painted faces over blue space craft backgrounds.

The premise of the series was the hero traveled for centuries in suspended animation and then was transformed by an alien godlike being into an avatar to act for the betterment of the galaxy. He was given an advanced spaceship that allowed him to to travel throughout the galaxy.

The main character is Chayn Jahil and he meets, helps, and falls in love with the blue skinned heroine Villimy Dy.

Amazing! That sounds very like what my father is talking about. I'm going to look it up and help him get his hands on that trilogy regardless. thank you very much for your help, this was the clue we've been looking for!
