Hi folks,
I would not normally post this opening to the Hugo award ceremony at WorldCon in Melbourne on Sunday night but as I thought it was a pretty good presentation to kick off the Hugo awards and was certainly a memorable part of the evening's events, I decided to post it here for a wider coverage.
I do intend to post my thoughts, commentary etc, on the 2010 WorldCon over at the Coventions section of the forum sometime next week but in the meantime, enjoy this look back at some of the nominated works and events in Science in 2009 that was presented in the plenary (5,500 divided seat state of the art ampitheatre) at the Melbourne Convention Centre.
