Hello!

I would like some help with the reading order. I went to some site at which you could find the chronological order of the books.

But then I went to a site to buy the books, and there it said that Jimmy the hand wasn't the first book in its series, even though it takes place during Magician.

What would you guys recommend?

So far I've read:
Magician
Silverthorn
A Darkness at Sethanon

Prince of the Blood
The King's Buccaneer

Should I read Riftwar Legacy first or the Legends od Riftwar? And should I read them in order?

I want to wait with reading the serpent war saga until after I've read Legacy and Legends

Thanks on beforehand

I doesn't really matter Legends of the Rifwar are set during the war

Honoured Enemy cowritten with William Forstchen

Murder in LaMut cowritten with Joel Rosenberg

Jimmy the Hand cowritten with Steve Sterling

Riftwar Legacy is set after Sethanon but before Prince of the Blood, currently there 3 books with another 2 to follow but it is doubful they ever will be written.

Krondor the Betrayal

Krondor the Assassins

Krondor Tear of the Gods

I am curious as to why you say that Nixie. I have only read the first two of his works and confess to being undecided about how much I like them. But I have nvere seen anything indicating the likelihood of his work being ending up uncompleted.

OK - thanks for that Nixie. I gather the whole Midkemia world originated in a student role playing game he and a bunch of others set up. Or something along those lines.

The whole issue is completely needless and stupid anyway; I'm sure Sierra have released at least one of the computer games as freeware...

It does suck. I really liked the Krondor Series (despite others not).

The legal issues have never been fully disclosed beyond Sierra sold to Pyrotechnix, Pyrotechnix did an appaling second game and were in discussions about a third game when they were bought out, the IP lies in limbo now and we dont know if it will ever be concluded.

That said feist mentioned on the mailing list there was a "nontraditional project" to round off the books although he wont elaborate.
