Colonel Young and most of his military personnel are held at gunpoint by the Lucian Alliance. Dannic intends to kill them but is convinced by Varro, a fellow Lucian, to exile them instead. Dannic agrees and the group is forced to travel through the Stargate to a rocky, uninviting planet. Shortly after arrival, they are joined by Varro and his men who have been deemed as traitors and also banished. When a deadly electrical storm begins to brew, all must work together to find safe shelter and survive.
Dr. Rush, Brody, Chloe and Eli have sealed themselves off in the hydroponics lab and have managed to obtain some control of the ships power. Dr. Rush conceives a risky plan to force Varro and the Alliance to surrender by draining the power from most of the ships shields. He informs Varro that when the next energy blast from the binary pulsar hits, everyone other than those in the lab will be killed by the radiation. An enraged Dannic refuses to back down, no matter what the cost.
While an injured Lt. Johansen lies in the infirmary, her subconscious visits a familiar place where she receives some startling news.
Whilst I can't say that this resolution episode was particularly gripping, knowing that they were unlikely to kill off Scott and Greer, or Johansen for that matter, I still found it enjoyable.
It was nice to see some of the internal squabbling of the stranded Alliance members. I'm wondering if some of them will join, in some way, the crew of the Destiny. Personally, I'd be dropping them all off on the next inhabitable planet and be done with it, rather than waiting to see if loyalties change or keeping them aboard as P.O.W.s.
It will be interesting to see how the whole thing plays out over, I'm assuming, the rest of this season.
I did wonder if the beings that Johansen saw in her dream, or altered state of consciousness, were Ascended in some way. The appearance of the nebula in her dream and in reality might be a sign that what happened to her was real, or just a massively implausible coincidence. I'd bet on the former.

So I'm glad some of them are still in the ship and one troublemaker for the looks of last episode. The thing with TJ's baby was kind of weird, I'm not sure what to think about it. One thing I really would love they to drop is the song at the end of every episode and Rush's wife ghost or vision. Rush is my favorite and I think his talks with the vision of his wife are really making his character a bit boring.
