Morning all,
As some of you will already know, changes are afoot at Alt.Fiction, as we'll be not only moving to a weekend event but presenting a year-round programme of events. As such I wanted to pass on the news of our first two events, and the dates for next year...
Other Worlds takes place on the 6th November, supported by Tor UK, and presents a day of panels, signings and giveaways featuring Tony Ballantyne, Peter F Hamilton, Mark Charan Newton and Adrian Tchaikovsky. Tickets for the afternoon event ar £8/£6 concessions and there are also limited spaces left for the morning workshops. Check out all the details here
Then we're on to Christmas Spirits on 17th December, a night of classic ghost stories presented in collaboration with 1623 theatre company. Vintage stories from Edgar Allan Poe, Henry James and Charles Dickens will all be part of the programme. Full details here
Last but not least, next year's Alt.Fiction weekend will be taking place on the 25th and 26th June at Derby QUAD. More news to follow.
