Red Dwarf was/is great... Still waiting for the new film that they have been planning for the last 5-6 years...

But, the series still holds up as being classic comedy... And don't forget Holly!!! That computer ROCKS!!!

The cat is now one of the 'story makers', and i can attest that he still acts just like the cat (although i'm always surprised that his fangs aren't there)

my fav episode is when they go to the wax-world where its good vs evil and rimmer takes up the chalange of being the new general. sadly though rimmers tactics wipe out the whole race of wax work droids......what a total and uter SMEGHEAD

i love it when they have to play basketball against the guards (RD7), but the scutters have put an aphrodisiac into the guards water to give lister and co a chance. it was so funny i hurt laughing. still do when i think of it

he was much more articulate & 'human' in the first series with a different actor
I guess they decided it was too human so they regressed him in the second series (better in my opinion)

Some classic episodes... The Pleasure GELF (appeared as everyones ideal - Cat seeing himself), Listers Marriage, Lister being his own dad, Roller Coaster ride through all the titchy Rimmers... But the best is when they find out that Red Dwarf is a computer game - YOU TWONK!!!

Ah, the best character in Red Dwarf was the toaster from the episode where all the technology goes haywire (or at least, one of them)


I actually had dinner with Craig Charles once. Long story, but he's a "friend" of one of on of our teachers, and was staying at his house while he sorted stuff out. We'd had a trip, and weren't gonna get back to school until the wee small hours

I have no particular fave episode, i love them all equally...Currently suffering from withdrawal symptoms as it's no longer shown here on any channel...But I have SG! now, so I'm not too bad

It's a shame they went slightly downhill in the last two series, but I'm still hoping for more and better stuff...
