Can anyone help me? I once read a book which I really enjoyed and would like to read more by the same author but have no idea who it was by. Google searches aren't helping. It contained a main male character, some sort of quest, much travelling by ships, a sexually transmitted disease which turned peoples lips blue, giant man-eating slugs....does this mean anything to anyone?
