November is nearly half over. Been a whirlwind of stuff happening.

The Director of the Library "quit." This occurred because he was told the next administration was planning on "firing" him, and I hate to say it, but there were a lot of folks dancing for joy when the announcement of his departure came through.

My story "Mermaid Songs" is now up on the Sorcerous Signals website. You can read it for free, make a donation if you feel like it (more money for the writers is always a welcome thing), and vote for your favorite story, and I sincerely hope you will read it and vote for me.

The link is www.sorceroussignals.com

The story is also out in the print edition of Mystic Signals #8 available from Wolfsinger Publications (www.wolfsingerpubs.com) for those who have a preference for print.

At the moment, I am working on a short story for an anthology and getting Thunder Hammer edited with the hopes of finding it a home.

Of course, To The Flame sits over on the sidelines, staring at me with that "Come on, play with ME!" expression.

And I have some ideas swimming around in my head as to where I am going next in my Ard-Taebh books. I have written a novel title Ard Magister: Shadow in the Bones and there is a short novel following that where Rhoyd meets the Fearfaolan, the Little Wolf Men who are half human and half beast. There are also several other Ard Magister books in the planning stages including Son of Stone, Shadow and Light, and the yet to be titled final confrontation book.

Of course, I still want to work on finishing the Anwyn novel, and there is a "collective" novel that is finished, but could use a little bit more editing.

There are times when I think if I did not have bills to pay, I would quit so I could write full time, but even writing full time requires a steady income.

Oh, well... ;)

Life as it is, never as it should be.
