Optimist!...:p

I did include a "maybe". Besides, apparently there's big news coming on Jan 9. It may not be what we want, but it could be.

Paul Kearney - Kings of Morning.
FF has it listed as the 3rd book in the Macht series.

The Republic of Thieves - Scott Lynch. Come on, Lynch, don't let me down this year. You're getting as bad as GRRM.

King Killer - Patrick Rothfuss
The Crippled God - Steven Erikson
Heroes - Joe Abercrombie

Although I might have to wait until the end of the year before copies are available here :(

A Memory of Light by Jordan / Sanderson. Finally. Going to be a relief when this thing is finished.

Soft Apocalypse - Will McIntosh
Fuzzy Nation - John Scalzi
The Iron Jackal - Chris Wooding
The Gospel of Anarchy - Justin Taylor

A Dance With Dragons George R.R.Martin
Heroes Joe Abercrombie
Wise Man's Fear Patrick Rothfuss
Republic of Thieves Scott Lynch
The Omen Machine Terry Goodkind
The Chaos Crystal Jennifer Fallon
The River of Shadows Robert Redick
Percepliquis Michael J. Sullivan

Dance with Dragons by G.R.R. Martin
Stonewielder by Ian Esselmont
Crippled God by Steven Erikson
Heroes by Joe Abercrombie
Republic of Thieves by Scott Lynch
Cast in Ruin and House Name by Michelle Sagara West

Hopefully 2011 will also bring a reprint of Mark Chadbourn's Kingdom of the Serpent series, the final saga from the Age of Misrule.

The Sword of the Canon: Initiate's Trial by Janny Wurts (#1 on my list)
ADWD (yes, I too am optimistic) by GRRM
A Wise Man's Fear, by Rothfuss
A Memory of Light, by Sanderson/Jordan (and after reading this series for 21 years, I am ready for the end)
Kings of Morning, by Kearney (this guy is one of the most under-rated writers out there)
The Crippled God, Erikson.

Stonewielder is already out.

My choices:

The Heroes by Joe Abercrombie (already read - excellent).
The Hammer by KJ Parker.
The Crippled God by Steven Erikson.

My #1 most eagerly-awaited book of 2011 is easily The Islanders by Christopher Priest.

Sword Woman and Other Historical Adventures(Jan. 25, 2011) by Robert E. Howard
Kings of Morning by Paul Kearney, better than most heroic fantasy writer mentioned in the forums.
Serpent of Hellas by Scott Oden

Those are the books i preorder and have looked forward to a whole year.

I have so many books in my TBR mountain that I rarely monitor what is coming. However I am looking forward to Down To The Bone by Justina Robson.

Hi Conn, have you read Lion Of Cairo? What did you think, haven't had time to get it yet but it's on my to get list

It was in my top ten list fav books for this year. It was a nice surprise that was stronger than Men in Bronze i read by Oden before. Its why i cant wait for his next novel. Also the sequal to Lion of Cairo is being written right now.

It was a very very good historical sand, sandal type book with very nice S&S elements.
