Has anyone there (in the Uk) read this book. I am not sure if it is available there, its Canadian. But I think Tor pulished it in the US, so I thought it might be possible?

It was the same for me. Maybe it was the wrong book at the wrong time -- I may have been in the mood for something quite different.
