Other than those two, hmm. Who Goes There? by John W. Campbell and At the Mountains of Madness by H. P. Lovecraft fits (though in both stories, the action takes place on Earth).

Yeah, i'm reading the Skinner now. It's very enjoyable and i'm looking forward to reading more from Neal Asher.

Depends what you want really, some of the Black Library's titles might interest you. Here's a link to a sample of Gav Thorpes Space Hulk. Other than that theres a good few of thier books that have Tyranids in (Genestealers are close to the Aliens that you're looking for.)

What the heck, I'll recommend it: OUT OF THE DARK by David Weber. I haven't read it but it sounds like it could be exciting sf/horror.
