Script Frenzy

Anyone intending to participate in this? I'm a two-time NaNo loser (go me!), but I must say I'm tempted to try my hand at this. A hundred script pages in a month sounds more than doable. I am, however, moving house right in the middle of April, so I don't know if I should bother even trying this year...

But I know we have a few budding script and graphic novel writers on the forums, so I thought I'd start this thread and see if any one else was going to try their hand at it. You can even work with a collaborator on your script. Seems kind of like NaNo's less serious, more relaxed little brother.

Moving house is no excuse. I moved house in the middle of writing my dissertation...which was a feature length script.

I remember someone mentioning this around NaNo time. I really should try and participate in something like this, beat back my chronic lack of motivation.

Nope, not me. I figure since I haven't touched my NaNo manuscript more than twice since December 1st, I'd better not add any more unfinished works to the collection right now!

I had an idea last year for Script Frenzy, a favorite book from my childhood that I think would make an excellent movie, but then I discovered there are already two scripts written for it and I lost the willpower. Of course, neither of those two have been made into the movie yet, so maybe they're in need of a third, and better, alternative? ...Nawww...

OK, that's done. I'm signed up. The frenzy is high at the moment, as I have an idea. Let's see if it lasts until April.

Seeing as I spent thousands of pounds learning this shiz, should probably put it to some use, I guess!

Might not be around much in April.

I have a couple of ideas that have been kicking around the back of my head for years. One's an historical horror flick (or possibly graphic novel, not sure yet) and the other is a kinda-mystical SF flick.
