UK Games Expo is a game convention in Birmingham in early June. This is its 5th year. Attendance circa 2500+. 70 Traders.
I am one of the organisers. Yes its a games con but has quite a bit to offer the SCi Fi and Fantasy Buff
Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone, authors of Fighting Fantasy are guests on the Saturday.

UK Games Expo aims to be the premier event in the UK where all aspects of the gaming hobby are represented under one roof:

The goal is to raise the profile of gaming as a hobby that will appeal to families and the general public as well as the enthusiast. The intention is to create a show along the lines of the US and German games conventions where families and gamers can come and play many new and different games available from the industry's leading manufacturers and publishers as well as participate in the many events taking place during the convention:
