I was browsing Amazon and Ebay for signed books and I stumbled upon this site. https://www.goldsborobooks.com/

Goldsboro Books is the UK's largest specialist in first edition, signed books.
They have a shop in Cecil Court, West end of London. There is a wide selection of books of all genres. Authors suply the shop with signed books themselves.

I plan on buying Joe Abercrombie's The Heroes - Signed & Lined Uk 1st Edition.
Best Served Cold - Signed, 1st Edition UK .

Maybe somebody else would like to check it out.

Just had a look through. It looks a bit expensive. (£225 for a First Edition copy of Alastair Reynolds Revelation Space.)

Yeah, some of them are very pricey. 300€ for a copy of The Painted Man. But the Joe Abercrombie ones are under 30€.

For anything like this I've always gone to Andy Richards at Cold Tonnage. Very reliable and excellent service.

Again, hardly cheap (though a little more so than Goldsboro, from what I can see -- 1st edition signed of Revelation Space is £200.00) but that's the market.

I wish the US dollar would equal the same in GBP already so we don't have to go thru the trouble of calculating the exchange rate anymore

I've always wondered how sellers are able to get rid of their stock when their prices are so high. Is anyone really going to buy that copy of Relevation Space at that price? It would seem highly doubtful, and in the meantime the store is accruing more and more books every day and losing money. If an author is extremely popular and well known you might get a rich sucker to bite, but based on what I've seen this is often not the case with alot of overpriced books.
