I know it's the first of April, but this is a perfectly legitimate thread.

Some friends and I are planning on watching HBO's first season of A Game of Thrones together every wednesday night. This is our regular movie night, so we'll just switch over to the show for twelve weeks...

Anyway, we're planning on inviting the others that we know who've enjoyed reading A Song of Ice and Fire. Since one friend... this is awkward saying 'this friend' and 'that friend', so I'll name them... Trunk and Creampuff.

Okay, since Trunk and I work together in the event decorating service (yes, I know there are not a lot of men in this business... yes, I've heard the male nurse comparisons... yes, we are most likely the only heterosexual decorators in Denver, err, Colorado, uh, America, probably the Universe...)... Well, since we decorate events, we were thinking to decorate Creampuff's place for the premier.

The Iron Throne, standing sets of armor, swords & shields on the walls, Robert's Hammer, a 4'x8' map of Westeros on the wall, the Painted Table, the WALL, 8' tall Lannister heraldry...

...or we could go red carpet, spotlights, and movie marquees.

We are planning on serving Dornish Hen with fiery peppers, Masha Heddle's mashed red potatoes, Taco Braavos, Renly's Peach Cobbler, The Vale Ale, Lannisporter, Astaporispumante, and Arbor Gold. We're definitely avoiding the Flea Bottom pot o' brown.

Thoughts were thrown around regarding making each guest as a member of the Small Council. But I'm not sure if Trunk is up for this, though Creampuff definitely will be. The others (not Others) will include Frenchy, NeQrO, Demonchild (Creampuff's brother), Dr. Discharge & his girlfriend (who will remain nameless to protect her ability to have a relationship after the Dr.), BD (Dr. Discharge's brother), and Dave.

Edit: I forgot to mention Zimm the Cobnobber and Scramjet.

The reviews from private premiers of the first episode are getting rave reviews across the 'net. A common cord seems to be that Mark Addy steals the show as Robert! Not long to go now...
