I was wondering if any of of you had heard of any of these stories I remember reading as a kid.
The first had a young human female and a 'friend' who was best described as a bigfoot-like creature. The entire story took place in a jungle or forest or something as I recall. I remember, towards the end of the story, she found a cave or something that had an abandoned labratory (I believe) that was filled with weird creatures from experiments and such.
The second story I remember very little of, except that the humans lived on a raft (?) and grew plants to create oxygen because the air was toxic. Also, I remember something about dolphins.
