Help Identifying a book

Hi Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone can help me identify if a book I read 20+ years ago.

The story was about a person (male) who was in suspended animation, (I cannot remember if it was by choice) He was an inventor (loads of cool stuff) and had a small company. when he come out of suspended animation many years later he discovers that all his inventions/patents have been stolen by a partner or friend, these inventions are very popular (Robots etc) and have made his partner or friend very very rich, the character then goes about trying to get justice.

I know this is vague, however it was more than 20 years ago I read it.

Thanks Teresa, that is the very one, It always stuck with me, but I could never remember the title or author, I thought it was maybe a Pillip K Dick book.

Just found out that it was the same person who wrote Starship Troopers can't believe it was published away back in 1959 though.
