Looking for a series I remember reading around the early 90's. I can not remember much about it (except that I liked it), what I do remember:
1. It was an urban/modern day fantasy setting
2. Running sub-theme was that the protaganist would read his fortune by using the first songs he heard on the radio each morning as a 'deck'
3. He had a girlfriend named Brandy (which I only remember because the song 'Brandy' showed up in the Tarot one day)
Other stuff that may be wrong:
1. I *think* it was set in North Carolina
2. It might be a less popular series by a popular author from that time
3. I keep thinking that I alphabatized it either in the B's with Brin and Brooks or the R's with Rosenberg and Robinson
Really, really appreciate any help - I've been going cross-eyed searching for it
