I love this film. The central time-travel idea is great and Jake Gyllenhaal is superb in the title role.
Drew Barrymore is a teacher who gets fired for teaching her students the Graham Greene story "The Destructors".
Patrick Swayze is brilliant as a creepy motivational speaker.
There's a character who wrote a book that sounds a bit like "An Experiment with Time" and it's just all-round awesome!

I have to say that i'm one of the few people that really didn't like this film. :(
 
I'm a fan! I have it on DVD where it attempts to explain everything that happens...to be honest, it's better just being a bit confused. The acting's great, especially the Darko family, and the soundtrack is amazing.

I'm a huge fan of this flick.
It's one of those movies I watched too many times and I'm still trying to figure out some stuff I don't fully understand lol
