Ned definitely does have this thought, but it makes sense that another character would/could as well.

I found it in only one of the two that I thought I remembered - when Ned is summoned to Robert as he's dying...he's referring to Blount, Greenfield, and Selmy each of whom he passes on his way in to see the king.
