This week Friday night + Saturday is the New Writers UK Book Festival http://www.newwritersuk.co.uk/festival.html
7+8th October in Nottingham
I went last year (for the first time) and joined the group NWUK as I found they offer useful help and advice for both Self Published and those aspiring to be published. Several small press publishers attend. Usually writers, publishers and agents give talks.
Writers and the small press publishers will have stands you can browse but also talk to them and get advice.
Its free so that is a bonus.
