Let me say from now on I will say comic book instead of graphic novel, a comic book is a comic book no matter what you call it!

Have any of you seen the new comic book edition of aGoT? I expect some of you have since I live in the middle of nowhere here, where everything comes last!

My son bought me the first 2 issues the other day. They were adapted by Daniel Abraham, featuring the art of Tommy Patterson. Even though they mention HBO on the cover (of course) they so far follow the story line from the book (ex: Cat convinces Ned to go to KL) The art is pretty good, Dany, Viserys, and Drogo are especially well done. Also I never pictured Ned to be quite as sexy as I do now! And for all the ladies here who have complained about how not good looking Theon is in the HBO series (you know who you are!:D) you should definitely have a look at this one!!

The cover art for the first one is done by Alex Ross. I think it is really amazing! It shows Ned surrounded by all 6 direwolves. If I can find it online later I will post it here.

I would love to find an e-comic version for my tablet, I love comics and have always enjoyed a good picture story.

I just checked and the first two are on Amazon where I could see the cover art, really nice as you indicated and there are actually other limited edtion versions with different art, also very nice. No e-version yet :) but I am guessing that will come in time. I think it might be fun to subscribe to it if possible though so I am throwing the idea on my what I want for Christmas list, can't hurt to try.

All I found on Amazon was a hardcover editon that won't be available until march 2012. Whatexactly should i be using to search? I tried graphic novel.

thanks

There's also The Hedge Knight graphic novel.
Yes, I also have The Hedge Knight in comic form. I will probably now wait and get the hardcopy version of aGoT. My local book store is notorious for having the first few issues then not the last ones! Plus it is really cheaper that way than about $5 per issue.
