Hi guys!
Some time ago my first novel went out in paperback and I was never quite happy with the job of the editor or the formatting. Since then I have released two more books with paid editorial assistance and I wanted this first one to be at their standard.
Now, it has had a major overhaul and is set for December release of the second edition paperback. It is greatly improved though the story content remains the same.
Now that it is closer to the ideal I wanted in the first place, I have decided to release it to Kindle.
As it is not a new release, in spite of the massive effort, I have decided on a silly season special, putting it out there on kindle at 99c until 01/02/2012. After that time it will return to the standard 3.99 my kindle editions usually sell at (interestingly when I put them at for a short time $2.99 they sold many less copies for some reason)
This first novel was commenced in 1989, when I was still a wet behind the ears high school brat, and was finally completed in the Australian summer of 2010/11. It has been an interesting exercise returning to it and working through it now I am better settled in my craft (I had not written for years when I picked this up a year ago - now I remember how).
Anyway, this polished version puts that first release in the shade so I hope if you choose to read it, you get some enjoyment out of the story and come back for more of my recent, more mature writings afterwards!
