Time Riders - Alex Scarrow

Just read the first in this series and enjoyed it. The writing was sharp and the story arc was well thought out. I felt the ending was a bit rushed, but that's time travel for you! Anyone else tried this?

I was looking for something very specific in the time travel genre, and I ran into this series. The premise wasn't what I was looking for, but I thought the intro might be interesting to read, so I thought I'd just read that. I have since finished the first five books, and anxiously waiting for the sixth.

If you're talking about Simon Scarrow, I believe Simon is Alex's older brother.

Really? I'm sure I had read it as father son in some interview back in the mists of time. Obviously the old memory is failing me already

I think you are thinking of Christian Cameron who pseudonyms as Gordon Kent that is a collaboration of him and his dad.
