New Films, New Options, New Rumours....

Gor blimey strike a light guvnor I bet that was a right old knees-up.

I only saw Tom Hardy, but from searching online he plays a "fixer" for one of two warring families, both based in London, but with enterprises stretched across the globe. I assume Pierce Brosnan is his boss. Helen Mirren may be the other family head. But yes it sound like they will be having great fun. Guy Ritchie likes filming in those parts of London, and he has used them before. It isn't unusual to live in a big city and see filming around the landmarks, but I think Northern Ireland and the Czech Republic are possibly more exciting with regards to the sheer amount of filming going on because of the tax breaks they give.

Here is the trailer for 28 Weeks Later. It is definitely a good trailer.

However, I'm getting a bit tired of the visuals. It's got a lot of "folk horror" stuff, which is starting to look a bit tired to me: tilling the land, old-timey Bible thumping, pagan-looking cultists, "wholesome" 1950s stuff repackaged to look sinister, and so on. 28 Days Later was very good (partly because it borrowed from The Day of the Triffids), and 28 Weeks Later was okay. I suspect that this will be pretty decent.
