Yes, this is true. He had stated that he would begin work on tWoW in January. he has about 100 pages that he moved from aDWD finished so far. hopefully he has a great year writing.

I think after ADwD I've entered some kind of GRRM hibernation period, knowing there's likely to be such a long way to go to WoW (ironic really, hibernating before winter). Well, either that or my tiny brain just can't handle the magnitude of speculation.

No doubt I'll steadily creep back in, as a good faceless man does.
