Hi,

I read a book nearly thirty years ago, that I need help in identifying. It is about a man who is transported from our world to a medieval magical world. Similar concept to Wiz Biz, but this man can create new spells instead of compiling them. His basic advantage is that his spells are unique in their originality, since in this World Wizards cannot create new spells.

Initially he rescues a Dragon (a talking one) and Princess, and then assists in a rebellion against a usurper who has stolen the princess's throne. He has the assistance of a "Aragorn" type hero i.e. mysterious and all knowing who leads him to maturity etc, and an unusual Knight's Vigil leading to a knighthood by a ghostly King.

I thought it was a book published by Baen, but couldn't find it in their catalog. Any help would be appreciated in naming the book, or even where to look ?

Thanks in advance,

Rajiv

Hi,

Yes Her Majesty's Wizard is the book, I recognize the cover. Now to find out if it is still in print. Many thanks. I have spent so long looking for this title.
