Impulse buy - browsing on my Kindle, $2.99 seemed a good deal on what appeared, at least form the byline, to be an interesting book. So far, hardcore military Sci-Fi, very well written. Worth $2.99...the jury is still is out but it looks good. This is the first of a trilogy it seems.
