over the wkend, i saw this on kevin j. anderson's blog and wasn't quite sure what to make of it:

so thought i'd post this thread to see if i could get some answers.
apparently, one of frank herbert's bottom-drawer novels, "high-opp", is now being published, but the publisher is listed as "wordfire press" on amazon - what exactly is "wordfire press"? is that anderson's own self-publishing thing? if so, it seems strange that trad publishers aren't offering big money for long lost frank herbert novels? what is going on here?
