One question arose for me - at what point will the the Whitecloaks accept the fact that the last battle is coming and that the Dragon Reborn is alive???

Thanks for posting that. I saw it over at DM, but have only had the chance to read it yesterday. I wonder if they're going to release a short amount of the prologue at intervals throughout the year, as a sort of teaser for the fans, or maybe to make up for the delay of the actual release. More likely, it'll be a one-off, but it was still nice.

The excerpt made for an interesting read, and it definitely made me want to read more, although I would've liked to see a little more from some of the characters who didn't appear much in ToM. Between this, and the posting of Darrell K Sweet's concept art for the cover of aMoL (before he passed away - with Michael Whelan taking over, though not painting the same scene), it's been a good few weeks for those waiting for the last book to be released.
