Hey,

I'm searching rather short SF stories who were originally publied in newspapers.
The story who would interess me the most would contain sex and spaceship battes!

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi

Are you looking for a specific story which you have read in the past and which you are trying to find again? If so, it might help if you give a bit more detail about it.

Or are you looking for recommendations for a type of short story, which you would like to read for the first time? In that event, I'll move this over to General Book Discussion, as Book Search is really for people trying to track down a specific book.

Hey,

No I'm not searching for a story that I've already read, I'm searching any stories that could correspond to those criteria.

Sorry if I posted at the wrong place!

That's OK. I'll move it over, and see if anyone can help you to find short stories like these.

Good luck with the search!

Sex and spaceship battles? The one which immediately leaps to mind is Richard Lupoff's "With the Bentfin Boomer Boys on Little Old New Alabama", which was published originally in Harlan Ellison's anthology, Again, Dangerous Visions (it was later expanded into the novel Space War Blues).

On the general topic of such things, you might want to look up the writings of some of the other New Wave (both British and American) from the 1960s, who pretty much finally shattered the taboo on sex in science fiction....

In the edition I have, it comes to 97pp. (which includes both introduction and afterword) of small print. The novel, if memory serves, is something about 350 pp. (much larger print, smaller pages).

You're welcome. I hope you enjoy it... though I will warn you that Lupoff does some things with language which must have made translation into any other tongue an absolute nightmare.....
