I linger within ye shadows of Sesqua Valley, dream
Although this convention does not yet have an official website ready, they have a wall on Facebook. There was a previous NecronomiCon every other year in Providence, but this is being handled by new people. It is slated for late August, 2013, to be held in Providence. Just that fact--to be held in Providence--makes this a must-attend event. The emphasis will be a serious investigation of Lovecraft's literary works and philosophy, and thus this will be an exceptionally interesting convention for Lovecraft scholars, of which there will be many of ye major ones, being this is an East Coast event. S. T. Joshi is already a confirmed participant, as is Providence's own Caitlin R. Kiernan. It's over a year away, so ye have plenty of time to start saving up. Truly, this may be the most significant gathering of Lovecraftians since MythosCon and is not to be missed! I am so excited. Due to my weakened state, I won't be able to go on any of S. T.'s energetic walking tours, should such occur, although I will somehow find my way to 10 Barnes Street!! Ia!

There is nigh a web-site:

I am so excited about this that I have become obsess'd with writing a new Mythos book that will have its debut at this convention. The book will be called Bohemians of Sesqua Valley and be moftly Sesqua Valley originals, and then there will be one of my prose-poem/vignette sequences inthe middle of the book, "Unhallowed Places--A Poetic Interlude," some of which will be set in Providence. Larry Roberts has agreed to publish ye book through his Arcane Wisdom Press.

I haven't been this excited in years. I pulse at an unnatural cosmic rhythm. My eyes peer at the world queerly, in new-tinted light of wonder. Sometimes I cannot help but shriek in delightful adventurous expectancy. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Congratulations, Wilum! I'm glad to hear this has you so inspired.

I hope to make it to this one, finally, but things are so up in the air right now, and I'm most likely going to be making some major life changes in the near future, that all such plans are in doubt for the present....
