It's that time again:

June Releases (a gallery of SF/F/H covers of books coming this month)

Has to be a first time for everything. I don't see a single thing I'm immediately, seriously interested in, though I know a lot of you will be excited about the Reynolds (at least the Americans of you who didn't read it six months ago) and the Corey. And I still want to know the bare list of Science Fiction: The 101 Best Novels 1985-2010 even if I don't want the book.

What looks good to you?

Fascinated by Marissa Day caught my eye, and in fact I had trouble taking my eye away … though don't tell my wife.

I wrote here about Blue Remembered Earth a few months ago. (A thread called 'Who stole Alastair Reynolds" or some such) Reynolds has been a great author and he's a lovely guy, but BRE was a letdown for me.

I'm excited about Caliban's War.

Coragem.

Thanks J-Sun. I'm looking forward to Sworn in Steel by Douglas Hulick and Besieged by Rowena Daniells.

Thanks J-Sun.

I'm particularly interested in the Wordsworth edition featuring the ghost stories of E.F. Benson, the Steven Erikson story collection, the Tad Williams story collection and the Thomas Ligotti collection. Quite a month for the short form it would seem...:)

Ah, I knew Sworn in Steel was meant to be out soonish. I'm looking forward to that as well.

Echoing the thanks, J.

Tad Williams.....*eyes glaze over and assumes zombie-like state* must get book, must get book... ;)

The Moorcock offering looks interesting. I'd not previously read any of the Colonel Pyat stuff, so might give this a spin.

Caliban's War is probably the only book I'll get right away. Can't wait for it.
